The Director

Dr. Matthew R. Francis took over as director of the M. D. Anderson Planetarium in August of 2007 after the retirement of long-time director Ronnie C. Barnes. Dr. Francis received his Ph.D. from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, after completing his B.A. degree at Central College in Pella, Iowa. Before coming to Lambuth, he taught at Rutgers and at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
